The Two Advents Series – Lesson 2

We are contrasting the first Coming and the second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are going to contrast a number of points, not only in this lesson, but Lord willing, in the ones to follow.

Contrasting the First and Second Coming of Christ

The first coming, Jesus came to suffer. When He comes the next time, it is going to be in Power and Glory. And they are poles apart. The Scripture is very positive; as by seeing these contrasts, we understand a lot of Scripture.

1 Peter 1:1-11

(1) Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ

Will you notice that Peter does not say THE apostle of Jesus Christ? Knowing the background of a Roman Catholic who believes that Peter was the first Pope and that they accept it and have never studied the Scripture regarding it; in this verse Peter says AN apostle. If you go over to the fifth chapter of Peter you notice that, if he is to be considered the first Pope, how different he is from Popes since.

1 Peter 5:1

(1) The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder

If you read any other translation, it is not merely an elder, but it includes a fellow elder. Peter never set himself up above anyone else. In fact if you read the story of the book of Acts, there are so many different things that he did and said for my encouragement and for yours.

When Peter went to Cornelius’ household God had used him to raise a woman from the dead. When he was called to Cornelius’ household, he really didn’t know all of the details; he simply knew he was to go there to preach.

You talk about a personal worker; some people have more zeal before they are saved than after they are saved. Cornelius had invited all of his kinsmen and his near friends and the house was full.

Peter came because of the vision that Cornelius had had about this man. Peter stepped in and said, “Why did you send for me?” Cornelius got down on his knees in front of Peter. When he got down on his knees, I can see Peter grab him almost by the hair of the head, and Peter said, “Stand up, I also am a man.” Have you read that? If you haven’t read it, go back and read it some day. That’s what the first Pope said. He said, “I also am a man, you are not going to bow down to me, stand up on your feet.”

I don’t intend to hurt anybody by saying things like that, but I tell you, when you read the Bible regarding Peter, if he was the first Pope, he’s got different credentials than they have had since. He said he was a fellow elder. I’m not above anybody else, I’m with everybody else.

Go back to the first verse of the first chapter of Peter – not THE great apostle but Peter, an apostle. He had to mention that, because of what he had to write about. Notice how he talks in 2 Peter. You have to love him for this, and keep this kind of verse before you.

2 Peter 1:1

(1) Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ,

Simon Peter, the one who cursed and swore. He was the one who couldn’t stand up in front of a little girl. Simon Peter, and oh I bless him for this:

A servant of Jesus Christ

That wasn’t written in 1967. That wasn’t written in 1975; because when the Lord uses people today, if they have a position, they put that first. Simon Peter, Pope, apostle, servant – NO, NO. That isn’t the way it is! Simon Peter the servant of Jesus Christ. That is the big thing. Incidentally he was an apostle, but he was a servant of Jesus Christ. Don’t you love him for that?

Back to 1 Peter

He puts his apostleship first here because it is being challenged.

1 Peter 1:1-3

(1) Peter an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

(2) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Peter is the only one that I know of that uses that word “multiply.” Paul uses the word “add,” but Peter uses the word “multiply.” He uses it twice. Peter realized his need; he needed Grace multiplied. You add 10 plus 10 and you only have twenty, but you multiply it 10 by 10, you have 100 right off the bat. An old sinner like Peter, needed Grace multiplied to him. Oh I sure love the first Pope!

(3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) which according to his abundant mercy

Read the Old Testament and you will understand that word “abundant.” If you don’t read the Old Testament, you will never understand the word “abundant.” The word abundant is built on the Old Testament language. Do you know what the Psalmist writes about? He writes about the tender Mercies of God. Not the Mercies of God, but the tender Mercies of God. Aren’t you glad that God is not only Merciful, but He has tender Mercies. That’s abundant Mercy – when it is tender. It is Mercy with tenderness.

Hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

You can understand that in the light of other Bible history. Somebody says, “Peter got saved and lost his salvation, and then got saved again, because he says he is begotten again.” Oh just a minute! That isn’t what Peter said. Peter said, Blessed be God Who has begotten us unto a lively hope.

On the road to Emmaus, what did the disciples say? They said, “We had hoped that He would have been the One who would have redeemed Israel, but now it is three days since He died.” Peter was like the rest; when Jesus died they knew not the Scripture. They had not believed all the Scripture. And when Jesus died, Peter’s hope died, like a lot of people that I have met. Twenty years ago they were rejoicing in the blessed hope, but they have lost sight of something, they have lost their hope. They’ve left it behind. Peter said, “I lost my hope when they put Jesus in the tomb, but praise God I got it back again when He came out of the tomb. I was begotten to a lively hope by the Resurrection from the dead.

You cannot disassociate these things. Jesus was born in order to live. And He lived in order to die. Always remember this if you have to go to a loved one’s funeral service. Never forget this. You could never have a Resurrection without a death. Hallelujah. It is death that makes possible Resurrection. That was true of Jesus, and that is true of our loved ones. Hallelujah.

There is going to be a Resurrection. Why? Jesus died and rose again. Peter said, “I got something back by the Resurrection. I got my hope back. And it is a living hope. I also got a vision of the fact that the Resurrection has given me a hope that has to do with an inheritance that is incorruptible, that is undefiled, that fadeth not away.”

That’s worth a sermon! I’ve got something that the world can’t give, and the world can’t take it away. I’ve got something that doesn’t change with the value of the dollar. I’ve got something that doesn’t change with the value of the standard of wealth in this world. I’ve got something that is incorruptible, that is undefiled, and it can’t fade away. It can’t lose its value.

Chorus

On the other side treasures there have I

Treasures this world with all its wealth could never buy

And when I reach the City and the gates swing open wide

That’s when I’m going to find my treasures

                   On the other side

Illustration

I have a relative in Edmonton who is not a believer. I sat beside him for three hours and talked to him about the Lord, concluding with prayer.

When we were about to leave, he gave my wife Anne $6.00 and told her to buy two of the best steaks she could find “and cook Lorne the best steak he has ever had.” As he walked away I said: “I’ve got something that is better than all this world has to offer.” He replied, “I know, I know.”

Praise God, if you don’t know it, I know I’ve got something. I know I’ve got something that is better than the best that this world has to offer. Glory be to Jesus!

Jesus said, “If you lay up treasures over there, you can’t lose them.” And Peter said, “I’ve got a hope of an inheritance that is incorruptible, it’s undefiled, and it will never lose its value.”

The Lord Is Keeping Something for Me in Heaven;

And He Is Keeping Me to Get What He Is Keeping For Me

1 Peter 1:4-5

(4) To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

(5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Praise God, the Lord is keeping something for me in Heaven, and He is keeping me to get what He is keeping for me. If the Lord didn’t keep me, I wouldn’t get it. But the Lord wants me to get what He has for me, and so He is keeping something for me up there, and in the mean time, He’s keeping me so I will get what He has for me. Isn’t that blessed!

Did you ever go to a banquet and not have a place reserved? That is not going to happen when you get to Heaven. There is a place reserved for you. And it is being kept for you. It has your name tag on it. And the Lord is keeping you so you will be at the table when you get there.

Well, Hallelujah. If it were up to me to get there I’d never make it, but the Lord is keeping me, because He is keeping something for me. There will be an empty spot if I don’t get there. That’s how important I am, and that is how important you are. He is reserving something for you. And He is keeping you for the reservation. Isn’t that good news!

1 Peter 1:6-9

(6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

Never forget that there is always a “need be.” If something goes wrong with a Christian’s life, there is always a need, and it is always for a reason.

(7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ (the Messiah)

That is not talking about the Rapture. If I have read my Bible correctly, that is talking about the Revelation. I’ll prove that in other studies.

(8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

(9) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.,

I thought I was saved! By Grace I am saved, and praise God, I am being saved, and one of these days I am going to be saved.

Romans says, Now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

When I accepted Christ, that was the beginning of my faith. But when I see Christ, that is going to be the end of my faith. The end of my faith is going to be the salvation of my soul, my body, my spirit, my whole being. Praise God, there is a better end for me than what is seen yet. It is up ahead -- the end of our faith. Aren’t you glad you are not at the end of it yet? Praise the Lord, when I get to the end of it, I won’t need these glasses any more. It is going to be Glory by and by.

Two Elements of Truth: Suffering And Glory

1 Peter 1:10-11

(10) Of which salvation the prophets

Wherever you read “prophets” without the word “apostles,” it always has reference to the Old Testament. Will you remember that! When you see “apostles and prophets” that has to do with New Testament writers. But if you see “prophets” alone, that only makes reference to the Old Testament.

Of which salvation the (Old Testament) prophets have inquired and searched diligently,

Oh, that we would do that! That proves Inspiration of the Old Testament. Jeremiah wrote his book, and after he wrote it, he sat down and read it. Daniel wrote his letter, and after he wrote it, he sat down and studied it. Isaiah wrote his letter, and after he finished it, he studied diligently what he had written. That proves that he didn’t do it under his own steam. When the prophets wrote what they wrote, they did it by the Inspiration of the Almighty. And when they had written what they had written, they had something worth studying, and they diligently studied the Old Testament prophets.

I’m glad you are here tonight. I would that there were more who would diligently desire to study the Bible. You do well that you take heed to look at the Book. The prophets diligently studied what? The doctrine of Salvation.

… who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (the Gentiles)

(11) Searching, what, or what manner of time

The big word in that verse is “time.” Searching what? They tried to figure out the time element.

… the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

There you have Peter telling us that the Old Testament prophets wrote of two lines of Truth, and they couldn’t figure them out. They studied diligently. What does this mean? Messiah is going to suffer and Messiah is going to enter into His Glory. How can that be? They couldn’t figure that out. But, praise God, we are on this side of the first Coming, and it is not so difficult for us. We can figure it out because half of it has come to pass. The sufferings have to do with the first Coming. The Glory has to do with the second Coming. Somebody says, “Brother, aren’t you stretching a point? Did not Jesus enter into His Glory when He ascended to Heaven?”

1 Peter 5:1

(1) The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ

What is that? That is the first Advent. Peter said, “I’m a living witness to the fact that Jesus came and fulfilled the prophets.” Jesus came and suffered, but now notice what he said. “I’m a witness of the sufferings,” but he didn’t say “I’m a witness to the next statement.” Notice how he guards the language, and I say Inspiration did this, because Inspiration knew what some people would do with some texts.

Peter said,

I’m a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that has been revealed.  NO!

I’m a partaker of the glory that SHALL be revealed:

Do you believe in the Revelation of the Glory?

Matthew 24:29

(29) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Sign of the First Coming – A Star

Sign of the Second Coming – A White Cloud

Matthew 24:30

(30) And then (not until then) shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

Have you ever wondered what the sign might be? I’m not sure, but I found something in Revelation.

Revelation 14:14

It is talking about the Son of man. That’s Daniel’s language. It is a text that I hadn’t paid much attention to. I don’t know that too many people have.

(14) And I looked, and behold a white cloud

Do you know what the Psalmist said – The Psalmist said He makes the clouds His chariots.

and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man

When Jesus came the first time, a special Star was prepared for his Coming. And when He comes the next time, it looks as though there is going to be a special Cloud prepared for His Coming. Out there in the Heavens, suddenly a white Cloud is going to appear. Go back to Matthew 24.

Matthew 24:30

(30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:

I’m not sure that that is what it is, but that is what I think it is. Some people think that it is a cross that will appear in the sky, but I’d rather stay with my Bible. If God could put a special Star to announce the first Advent, God can do what He likes to announce the second Advent.

First Time: To Suffer,

Second Time: With Power and Great Glory

Matthew 24:30

(30) And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

When He came the first time, He came to suffer, but when He comes the next time, it is going to be with great Glory. And I can’t make it any greater than it is. God doesn’t exaggerate. When God uses a Word, God wants us to pay attention to the Word. When the Son of man comes, it’s not merely going to be in Glory, but it’s going to be with GREAT Glory. Hallelujah.

My wife and I used to sing duets. The only one duet we ever sang was the hymn ONLY GLORY BY AND BY. One verse goes:

There may be tears to shed.

Only Glory by and by, only Glory by and by

                             Every heartache gone forever

                             Only Glory by and by

I remember 34 years ago, when we were on our honeymoon, we sang that duet. Looking at the words, and looking back on it, it is rather humorous. We didn’t sing it because we weren’t in love, because we were very much in love. And I don’t know why we stopped singing duets; but we have had a lot of Glory since.

I can sing it now and mean it in a way that I couldn’t understand 34 years ago, because I am that many years older. Some of you folks understand a little better than the younger. Young people don’t know anything about it, but the older you get the more you appreciate the fact that this life isn’t all. When you are young the days are so short and the years are so long. You meet somebody who is 40 years old, and you think they belong to the Ancient of days. I say it reverently. But then you get older, the days are long and the years are short. You try and figure that paradox out! That is a paradox of paradoxes, but it just works out the way it is.

There are some people, you go and visit them in what was called “The Old Folks Homes.” I keep saying, all the Lord has to do is leave me here for a few years and somebody is going to have to push my wheelchair around too. It only takes a few years. Don’t ever laugh at an old person, because you are going to get old too some day. As you get older, you go to some of these folks who are confined and they say, “My the days are so long. But it only seems like yesterday when I was walking my baby.” I can’t figure that out, but that’s the way it is. Years seem to shorten up with time.

I believe that one of the reasons is: God is trying to teach you, as you get older, that you are a creature, not of time, you are a creature of eternity. I praise God that I see things in a different light now. I can preach on some subjects with brand new feeling. I didn’t have the feeling that I have 30 years ago because I didn’t understand some things. As I get on in life, I start to feel with new feelings. Now when I read about the King Coming, it all His Glory, ONLY GLORY BY AND BY means 10 times as much to me now.

I love to preach with Brother Taylor sitting down there. I love to preach to the elderly. I meet some of these folks that have been on the way, and they know they are on borrowed time. They are getting closer to the other side. They are standing on a banana peel with one foot in the grave. They are one step closer to Glory. When Jesus comes, it is going to be Glory for us all. Jesus is going to come, and He is going to come in Power and great Glory.

We are going to get on to talk about the Rapture later on, if we have time. If we get to talk about that, there is a confession I have to make. For most of my life I have been so wrapped up in the Doctrine of the Rapture -- of being caught up with the Lord in the air, that I missed a lot of precious Truths. Now I start realizing that 7 years (that little tribulation between the Rapture and the Revelation) is really nothing. Seven years is really nothing.

I was in Regina for seven years and it seems like seven days now. The older you get, years seem so short. What is seven years! I was always so excited about the Rapture that I didn’t pay any attention to the Revelation. Now I am getting excited more and more about the Revelation. I praise God that I believe in the Rapture, but I also believe in the Revelation. I’m more excited about that, because the Revelation is going to be a revelation of the King in all His Glory. It’s going to be Glory, Glory, Glory, Glory. I can get carried away, and one of these days I am going to be carried away, and that won’t be the end. That will only be the first installment of the Glory, because the King is going to come in all His Glory.

When Jesus Came The First Time, He Came As The Savior

Luke 2:7-10

It tells us the Christmas story

(7) And she brought forth her firstborn son (in fulfillment of Isaiah 9:6.)

(8) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

(9) And, lo, the angel of the Lord (THE angel. I want you to notice it is singular) came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:

And they had a very natural reaction.

and they were sore afraid

FEAR NOT

Luke 2:10

(10) And the angel said unto them, Fear not:

That is the first sermon connected with the first Coming of the Messiah. The message of the first Coming was FEAR NOT. The first thing that Jesus said to his disciples after his Resurrection was FEAR NOT. The message of the angel at the tomb was FEAR NOT. In a world that is filled with fear, and in a world that is being shaken on every foundation, if you are not a Christian you have  every reason to be filled with fear. Nothing is stable today. Absolutely nothing. Everything is being shaken. The foundations are being destroyed. The prophet of the Old Testament said, “If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?”

I’ll tell you, there is one thing that the righteous can do that nobody else can do. The righteous can FEAR NOT. I’m not fearing. Somebody says, “What’s wrong with you?” Nothing.

Corrie Ten Boone writes in her book that she was coming in on an airplane. The captain of the airplane had announced they had to prepare for a crash landing; something was wrong with the landing gear. That saint of God sat on the plane while they prepared for that emergency. They landed safely, and when they got off of the plane a Jew went to this dear saint and said, “I’d like to ask you a question, What is it that you have that I haven’t?” And she said, “What do you mean?” The Jew said, “When the announcement was made that this plane may crash, I saw fear on the face of every other passenger, but I saw a sudden calm come over your face that wasn’t on anybody else’s face. Lady, tell me what do you have that I haven’t got?” And she witnesses unto him Jesus.

Friends, we are in a shaking world. We are in a troubled world. We are in a world that is filled with logical, reasonable fears. It is a rational thing to fear, but praise God, with Christ in my boat, I’m going to make it to the other side, and I don’t have to fear how the storms come. When Christ was in the boat, His message to those who were in the boat was “FEAR NOT, I’m the Lord of the storms”. The message of the angel was FEAR NOT.

Now why? Here it is:

Luke 2:10-11

(10) for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

(11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a KING which is Christ the Lord.

That’s the way it should be if you had read the Old Testament. But that isn’t what the angel said. That isn’t the announcement; for when Jesus came the first time, He didn’t come to be a King.

Unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOR, which is Christ the Lord.

I would put John 4:42 alongside of that verse, and I would have you put it in your heart. Notice what was said when the Samaritans heard Jesus speak after the woman of Samaria had given her testimony:

John 4:42

(42) They said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Messiah, THE Saviour of the world.

Jesus – THE Savior

The Samaritans did not say A Savior. John 4:42 does not say A Savior. Oh my Jesus is not A Savior, my Jesus is THE Savior. There is salvation in no other for there is none other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

The angel did not say, “unto you is born THE Savior that is going to be one of a company.” And the Samaritans said “He is THE Savior. There is no other.”

I’m glad I found THE Savior, not A Savior. The angel said that is why He was born.

Luke says, and I don’t want to upset anybody, but I usually do; I usually upset people by saying that the angels were ahead of schedule. I want to cushion it before I say it, then I will show it to you. You don’t have to believe it unless you want to, but I hope you will.

Angels live beyond the realm of time. I don’t, that’s why I have this watch. We are creatures bound by time, aren’t we? Isn’t it wonderful to believe that Jesus is not bound by time! Isn’t it wonderful to believe that the angels are not bound by time!

If the Lord would give us a time clock to help us human beings, regarding time, in relationship to Him, He says a thousand years is like a day. That’s a long time for me. But with the angels, that is like 24 hours. And so 2000 years is only 48 hours. That isn’t very long is it? When Jesus came the first time one angel was scheduled to announce His coming. Tell the shepherds a Savior is born. But the angels, don’t think of 2000 years as being a long time – that’s only 2 days!

Second Advent: Jesus The Righteous One Will Make Things Right,

Therefore Peace Will Reign

Luke 2:13-14

(13) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

(14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

They were just 2000 years ahead of time that’s all! Verse 14 is the second Advent. With the angels it is only 2 days. When we have been trying to bring in peace and haven’t read all of the Bible, we don’t realize that there are two announcements here. The first is the announcement of the Savior, and the second announcement by the multitude of the angels, is the coming of the KING who is going to bring peace when He comes.

I’m talking about God’s schedule. God has some things on His schedule, and He is marking down the schedule. What is it?

Matthew 25:31

(31) When the Son of man (I told you, this is not the Rapture. This is the second Advent) shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

There is the schedule. There it is!

Hebrews 1:6

Our translation is a little bit awkward, but I like being able to dig these things out. I prefer using a King James Bible to dig things out, because I find I get more blessing that way. You know, people have to dig to get gold. People have to dig to get silver. And the more digging you do in your Bible, the more gold you are going to get.

(6) And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, and let all the angels of God worship him.

The word “again” means “the second time.” If you do something again, that’s the second time. It is not merely repeating words here. Here is what the verse means: the second time when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world.

I ask you this: Did Jesus come into the world the first time? Is He going to come the second time? What is He going to do when He comes the next time? All the angels are going to come. The first time one angel was supposed to make an announcement, but they got so excited they said, peace was going to come with this one, but they were just 2 days ahead of time; because the next time they are going to make the same announcement.

The angels are going to come with the King when He comes. And when the King comes in all His Glory, the Holy angels are going to be shouting. The multitude of the Heavenly Host are going to be saying, “Glory to God, Glory to God.” Hallelujah! All of the angels are going to say “Glory to God.” Some of you have never said “Glory to God” yet. But I think it is time for you to start saying “Glory to God.” That’s the language in Heaven. And that is the language of the angels. The angels are going to say “Glory to God. Glory to God in the highest,” and they are going to add, “On earth peace.”

How is that going to be? Well, the Prince of Peace is going to come, and He is going to bring Righteousness. I may take one lesson on showing you the connection between the Coming of Christ and Righteousness. His Reign is everywhere connected with Righteousness. Do you know why there isn’t peace tonight? Because so many things aren’t right. That’s why! So many things are wrong. Do you know what Righteousness is? Righteousness is simply making things right. The King shall Reign in Righteousness. When Jesus comes He is going to make things right. Because things are going to be right, it’s going to be alright. I said what I said, and I meant what I said, and I sincerely said it – it is going to be alright. Well, for you, it is going to be alright too. It’s going to be right.

You said, “In my lifetime I had a long nose and my sister had a short one. She was good-looking, and I was homely.” It’s going to be alright. I say it again: It is going to be alright. I wonder if we really believe it! The King is going to Reign in Righteousness and things are going to be right because the Righter is going to make them right.

I can apply something that comes to mind. Brother Brown said he was in a city where there was a sign outside of an iron works. The sign read WE WARP AND TWIST ANYTHING. I can remember him saying, “That is the way some people handle the Bible. They warp and twist anything.”

I’m not much of a blacksmith or a tinsmith. I’m not even a Smith; but I found, when I bend a nail, when I make it crooked, I have a real difficult time to even straighten out a nail. I try to put it over and hit it on the other side, and I make it crooked the other way. I can’t even straighten a nail. I can’t make a nail that is twisted, right.

But praise the Lord, I can put that in reverse. We can warp and twist anything, but the Lord of Glory can take the warps and twists out of anything. He is going to come back and take out the warps and the twists and He is going to make things right; and He is going to Reign in Righteousness. And peace will prevail because everything is alright.

Well, Glory to Jesus! The King is Coming. The first time He was the Savior, but the next time, and I say it reverently, He is going to be the King of the works. King of everything. Not only King of your body, and King of your mind, and King of your soul; but He is going to be King period! And He is going to show who is King.
