1 Thessalonians 5:17  pray without ceasing

 

II  Acts 1:24  prayer for definite direction in making a choice

Philippians 1:9,10  approve things that are excellent

            Romans 16:19  wise unto that which is good

            Hebrews 4:14  to discern both good and evil

 

III Acts 2:42  prayer as a way of a Christians life

            Acts 12:5  prayer without ceasing of the Church

            Acts 13:3  when they had fasted and prayed

            Acts 14:23  when ordained elders- fasted and prayed

            Acts 20: 36-38  kneeled down and prayed

            Daniel 2: 17-18  partners who prayed

            Exodus 17 10-12  helpers as prayer partners

            2 Chronicles 32: 20  Hezekiah and Isaiah prayed

A husband and wife in China, saved for six months said: “we pray together and keep each other accountable in our faith”

            Matthew 9:38  pray that the Lord send forth labourers

 

VI  Acts 7:59-60  prayer with dying grace

            Genesis 49:33  what an example of “dying grace”

 

VII  Acts 9:11  behold, he prayeth

Real prayer is a mark of a true believer, as are

faith, love and hope

May we, as a Berean Church family, be challenged to pray more for each other
