Text  2 Timothy 2:15  “Study…..the Word of Truth”

I  Review.  We have considered two facts about Bible History

            1. Bible history is literal history

2  Bible history is linked history

II  Bible History is often fulfilled Prophecy

My purpose :  If  Bible prophecy has merged into history in the past, will prophecy not yet fulfilled, merge into history when it is fulfilled in the future?

III Genesis 15:13-16- verses of prophecy

1  Abram’s seed will be strangers and slaves in a land for 400 years

            2. After 400 years God will judge that nation; Abrams seed will have spoil

3  Abram will live to be an old man

            4.  The reason for the 400 years, is to allow the Amorites to fill the cup of iniquity

IV. All these predictions merged into Bible history

1 Exodus 1:1  The seed of Abram moved into Egypt

Exodus 1:11-13  there they became slaves

            2. Exodus 12:40-41,51  Sojourn was 430 years, slaves 400 years to the day

Exodus 12:33-36  they left Egypt with great spoil

            3.  Genesis 25:7-8  Abram lived to be 175 years of age

4   Deuteronomy 7:1-2  God said slay utterly.  The cup was full cf Rev. 2:21

V     Prophecy of the Babylonian Captivity

Jeremiah 25:11  this captivity would be 70 years

Isaiah 39:6-7 kings seed would be taken to Babylon

These predictions have become Bible history

2 Chronicles 36:15-21  read the details

Daniel 1:1-6  Daniel belonged to the Kings seed.

VI    Prophecy of the Return from Babylon

Jeremiah 29:10  after 70 years there would be a return of a remnant

The book of Ezra, written as history, is in fact, fulfillment of this prophecy

Daniel 9:25  the street, and wall  to be built in troubles times.

The book of Nehemiah, a book of Bible history, is in fact, fulfillment of one line of Bible prophecy.

VII  Conclude

These facts should prove that much Bible history is actually fulfilled prophecy.
