Prophecies of Years

I Genesis 15:13-14 a prophecy of 400 years

Israel would be in slavery

Then they would be delivered from it

History Exodus 12:40-41 430 years. Is this one of the Bible mistakes? No!

Exodus 1:8 a new King arose who knew not Joseph

Their sojourn in Egypt was 430 years. Their slavery 400 years.

The prophecy of the years of bondage was literally fulfilled

II Genesis 41:29- 7 years of plenty

History Genesis 41: 47-49, 53

The prophecy of the 7 years was literally fulfilled.

III Genesis 41:30-33- 7 years of famine

History Genesis 41: 53, 56-57

The prophecy was fulfilled literally

IV Numbers 14:33 prophecy of 40 years in the wilderness

History Numbers 32:13

Deuteronomy 2:7

Psalm 107:4

The prophecy was fulfilled literally

V..Jeremiah 25:11,12 a prophecy of 70 years in Babylon

Jeremiah 29: 10-14 a prophecy, that after the 70 years they would be delivered from Babylon

History 2 Chronicles 36:15-21

Daniel 9:1-3

Isaiah 44:28

2 Chronicles 36:22-23

Ezra 1:1-4

From the record, both prophecies of Israel’s captivity and deliverance from Babylon were fulfilled literally.

VI Daniel 9:24-27 the prophecy of 70 weeks of years

This we will look at in another lesson.

VII Revelation 20:17 a prophecy of 1000 years

All the prophecies fulfilled, have had to do with Israel. Does not this prophecy of the Kingdom also have to do primarily with Israel?
