Review

1 Corinthians 15:26 death is still our enemy

In considering the place departed human souls and spirits go, we showed that before the resurrection of Christ all went down in to paradise, a place of comfort, part of Hades located in the heart of the earth.

Luke 9:30-31 Note that Jesus talked to Moses and Elijah about His death.

Christ, by His death and resurrection, moved paradise from earth to the third Heaven.

Ephesians 4:8-9 Before He ascended He descended

2 Corinthians 12:1-4 Paradise is now in the third Heaven, so Jesus moved it when He led captives from it.

I Now when believer’s die, they go to Paradise in the Third Heaven

2 Corinthians 5:8 they go home to be with the Lord

Philippians 1:21 to live is Christ to die is gain

Philippians 1:23 to depart is to be with Christ

1 Thessalonians 4:14 saints are with Him

II Before the death and resurrection of Christ the Devil had some power of death

Hebrews 2: 9, 14-15 through death Christ destroyed the Devil’s power

We do not fully understand, but we believe !

Colossians 2:15 He spoiled principalities and powers

III Now , Christ alone holds the keys of death

Revelation 1:18 I have the keys

Romans 14:9 Lord of both living and dead

IV Hell will be moved from earth to the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:14 this is the second death, eternal separation from God, Who is Life.

So, as paradise was removed from this earth, so Hell will be removed from it,

All this, before the New Heaven and the New Earth
