II The first resurrection is the resurrection of the just, the second
that of the unjust
There are those who
believe that Ephesians 2:1
‘you hath he quickened’ to be the first resurrection. But that is
a resurrection
of the spirit, not the resurrection of the body. Our subject is the resurrection of the body.
Revelation 20:4-6 this is speaking about
those, after being beheaded, living again, and being part of the first
resurrection
Verse 6 this first resurrection is ‘blessed and holy’
On such the second death hath no
power

said there was no resurrection

the resurrection of the dead is based on the fact of the bodily
