I Christianity is an historical faith

Matthew 15 :3 it is not built on traditions of men

II Christianity is founded on facts

Luke 1:5 does that sound like fact or fiction?

Luke 2:1-2 does that read like fact or fiction?

Luke 2:8-25 do these verses sound like fiction?

Luke 3:1-3 again we ask: fact or fiction?

These Scriptures are connected with persons, places and events.

III Christianity is deeply rooted in the Old Testament

Matthew 1:1 Jesus – David - Abraham-

Luke 24:44-45 Jesus said , Old Testament Scriptures were filled with predictions

about Him

Acts 13:22-23 Paul connects Old Testament history with Jesus Christ

Romans 1:2 the gospel was promised in the Old Testament

Matthew 22:29 all error is a result of ignorance of the Old Testament

IV Christianity has always made much of Christ Crucified

1 Corinthians 1:23 we preach Christ crucified

Galatians 6:14 God forbid that I should glory save in the cross

1 Corinthians 1:18 the preaching of the cross…

1 Corinthians 11:26 ye do show the Lord’s death

Christians are instructed to remember Christ’s death, not his birth, baptism or life.

V. Christianity has always treasured the Scriptures

Acts 2:25 David speaketh

Acts 3:18 mouth of the prophets

Acts 3:21 all his holy prophets

Without the Bible a Christian has nothing worth saying!
