Sees People

Introduction –All Scripture is
Important
2 Timothy3:16
all is inspired and all
profitable for doctrine. “The sum total
of all Scripture on any subject in the Bible is the doctrine of that subject”
1
Corinthians
Romans
15:4 all is written for our
learning
He who will not learn from the
Scriptures will not learn much of real value
I 1
Corinthians
The unsaved man, receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God
Such are foolishness to him
He cannot know or understand them.
1
Corinthians
John
3:1-3 Jesus did not try to teach Nicodemus but
said “ye must be born again”
II 1
Corinthians
The saved man who is
living in a right relationship with the Spirit
Galatians
Galatians
III 1
Corinthians 3:1-3 The Carnal Man
The saved man fallowing
the flesh and not the Spirit
Galatians
It seems to me that many believer’s do not make place for this kind of believer
IV It will be
our purpose to illustrate these three kinds of people from the stories of the
Kings of Israel and Judah
1
King Saul , the first king
1 Samuel
9:1-2 he started life, as king, well.
At times he looked like a spiritual
man, other times like a carnal man and often like a natural man. But he ended life poorly
2
King David
Acts
Acts
2 Samuel 23:1-3
the end of his life was
good.
David started poorly but finished
well. He must be classified a s a
spiritual man in the over-all of his life
3.
King Solomon
1 Kings 11:4 when he was old his wives turned away his heart
He had a wonderful start but a very
poor finish
So we must consider him a carnal
man
4
King Rehoboam
must be seen as an a example
of a natural man.
It
is not how we begin but how we finish the race that will determine our rewards
