God sees people as being one of the following:
1 Corinthians 2:14 a natural man – unsaved, unbelieving man
1 Corinthians 2:15 a spiritual man – saved, in right relationship with the Spirit
1 Corinthians 3:1 a carnal man – saved, but living like a natural man
We are using the Kings of
Israel-Judah as examples of these types of men
II Saul, the
first king, we concluded, is an example of a saved, carnal man
III We looked at
Saul’s beginning as King. Begins to Live in Disobedience
All looked good.
IV We began to
look at his Backslidings

revealing

Vs. 9 - reveals Saul’s disobedience
b. Vss 15, 20, 21 he blames the people for what he has
done
c. Vs 23 God named his
actions to be rebellion and stubbornness.
These are steps that
lead to carnality.
