David,–a
type of Christ-II
I..1 Samuel
He was sent as a son. He did not become a son when he was sent, but
because he was a
son he was sent.
Repeatedly the Bible teaches that Christ ,the Son of God ,was sent into this world
by the Father.
Isaiah
9:6 a prophecy- unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is
given
Jesus did not become God’s Son by
the incarnation as some teach.
As God’s Son He was sent
into this world. The New Testament is the story of the Son
sent from heaven. How real is Heaven, as real as God’s Son.
Here are some of the Scriptures:
John 5:30,36,37 the Father… hath sent me
John 6:57, John 8:16,18, John
1 John
II I Samuel
The word “brethren” is
found three times in three verses.
Jesus was specifically sent to His
brethren, the Jews of Israel.
Everywhere in the Old Testament “my
people” are the Jews of Israel

is very evident that the history of David is not ordinary history, but intended
by God to teach us lessons about Christ.
