I Joel 3:1 Notice the words:

a. “ in those days” and “At that time”

b. “I will bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem

cf Isaiah 11:11

Jeremiah 16:14-15

II Joel 3:2 God will gather all Nations to the valley of Jehoshaphat, Israel

a. note “I will” verses 2,7,8

b. Verse 2: “my people” “my heritage Israel” “my land”

III Joel 3:3-8 They are so gathered because of their treatment of the Jews

a. Verse 2 “they parted my land”

b. Verse 3 “they have made slaves of Israel’s children”

Example 2 Kings 5:2 the little maid, Israeli- captive

There are things God knows about their treatment, He has not revealed.

c. Verses 3-6 the Nations have carried away my silver , my gold, etc

IV Joel 3:9-10 God gathers the Nations for war

a. 1 Chronicles 5:22 “the war was of God”

b. Vs.10 plows to swords, before swords to plows

V Joel 3:11-14 These verses are not about the “harvest of souls”

Joel 3:12 there will I sit to judge.

Revelation 14:14 This is not the sickle of grace, but the sickle of judgment
