Thessalonians 3:2 without faith men are unreasonable
We
heard a journalist say : “the Middle East is a hopeless situation.”
Humanly
speaking that is true. Men are without
hope. But we have hope because
we believe in God.
Why
do we believe in God?
I
Creation is our first Reason for believing in God.
To
give account for creation apart from God, man must invent some other answer.
He
may say that he is an Atheist but he cannot deny the existence of this world
that has form and order. So in the place
of God he inserts the doctrine of evolution.
But
when he does , he must begin with nothing. As Francis Schaeffer wrote
: “He must believe that everything that exists has come out of
absolutely nothing. It must be
nothing-nothing. There must be no
energy, no mass, no motion, and no personality”
Shapley
of Harvard said: Christians say: “In the
beginning God”. I say “in the beginning
hydrogen.” But he is wrong. He must begin with nothing and believe that
nothing produced something.
Psalm 14:1 the fool has said in his
heart there is no God.
Today,
God and anything associated with Him are banned from the classroom.
God
says our schools and universities are directed by fools!
II We turn to
the Bible for our answers about Creation
Genesis1:
1 In the beginning God
created…
That statement is positively true or positively false.
If true, evolution is
false. Only if Genesis 1:1 is false can
evolution be true.

11:3 faith believes God

119:160 Thy word is true from the
beginning.

Conclusion
From
Genesis to Revelation , God is presented as the
Creator. This fact is never questioned
in this Book.
Romans1:19-20 the fact of creation proves the fact of God the
Creator
