Text – Matthew 24:29-31
I Matthew
24:29 –this verse tells us when
the Glorious appearing takes place.
1 Immediately after the tribulation of those
days - (not in A.D. 70)
2 Here is revealed a set
time.
Galatians 4:4 when the time was come Christ came
Psalm 102:
13-16 when a set time comes, Christ comes
II Matthew 24:29 lists some of the events
that will accompany the Glorious Appearing
The sun shall be darkened
The moon
shall not give her light
Joel 2:31 helps to understand
how.
The stars
shall fall from Heaven, the powers of Heaven shall be
shaken
Joel 3:15 the same words
Ezekiel 32:7-8 - what God says He will do
Isaiah 13:9-10 - God will do this
Isaiah 24:21-23 again we have like
information
God is
going to put out all the lights and bring darkness on the earth
Exodus 10:21-22 – thick darkness for
three days.
