I Trials have to do with the Ways of God

Correct last weeks notes. Proverbs 25:1-5 should have been Psalms 25:1-5

II Trials are not a mark of God’s disfavour

Pray for patience and He will send tribulation

Romans 5:3 tribulation worketh patience

III Trials come to all of God’s Children

1 Corinthians 10:13 such is common to man

Christians and men of faith have always been subject to tests and trials.

1 Peter 5:8,9 the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren…

Hebrews 12:6-11 notice verse 6 “every” and verse 8 “all”

Proverbs 3:12 whom the Lord loveth He correcteth

Revelation 3:19 as many as I love, I rebuke…

IV Trials are not strange happenings for believers

1 Peter 4:12-13 think it not strange concerning the fiery trial…

cf Romans 8:18 think ahead

Philippians 1:29 unto you it is given. not only to believe but to suffer…

1 Thessalonians 3:3-4 appointed there unto

V Trials only come when they are necessary

1 Peter 1:6,7 now for a season if need be…

2 Corinthians 12:7-9

If we could see beyond today as God does see.
